
Know All Persons To Whom These Presence May Come That I Susan Hewitt of the Borough of Millvillage, County of Erie and State of Pennsylvania, Being of sound Mind and Good memmory and Good understanding and of A disposing disposition, Do Make Publish and Declair this instroment of Wrighting to be my last Will and Testament, making Null and void any Wills heretofore by me made.
First I give and Bequeath to my Husband George Hewitt Two Thousand 2000 Dollars and one bed in full of his interest in my Estate, if not hte 2000 Divided between my children.
Second I give and bequeath to my Daughter Mazelia Cary the sum of One thousand and Nine hundred 1900 Dollars.
Third I give and bequeath to my Daughter Emeline Brown the sum of One thousand and nine hundred 1900 Dollars four hundred 400 Dollars has heretofore ben paid to Emeline Brown which is to come out of above bequest of Emeline Brown.
Fourth I give and bequeath to my Daughter Caroline Woodford the sum of One thousand and nine hundred 1900 Dollars. six 600 hundred Dollars which has ben heretofore paid to Caroline Woodford is to be taken out of the above bequest leaving thirteen hundred 1300 Dollars as her share.
Fifth I give and bequeath to my Daughter Mary E. Comstock the sum of One thousand and nine hundred 1900 Dollars that is to say the House and Lands which Comstocks now reside on bounded by Public Road Bail Road & ther ???? is to be taken in Place of Eight 800 hundred Dollars and Pease of Land and Mortgage on land Bounded on West by Land of H. H. Hunt on south by New ?eland Road and of Wm. Quay on East by land of Henry Dadoler on the North by Land of Rillings or other is to be taken as six 600 hundred Dollars leaving Five 500 hundred Dollars to be paid to Mary Comstock.
Sixth I give and bequeath to my Daughter Flora Smiley the sum of one thousand and nine hundred 1900 Dollars except a four 400 Dollar Note I hold against her Husband Richard Smiley is to come out of the one thousand and nine 1900 hundred Dollars leaving fifteen 1500 hundred Dollars to be paid to Flora Smiley.
Seventh I give and bequeath to my Daughter Nancy Henderson one thousand and Nine hundred 1900 Dollars.
Eighth I give and bequeath to my son Henry D. Prather the Mortgage and Bond I hold against him and the ten acre lot of Land Bounded as follows to wit. on the West by Land of G. W. Gillett on the south by Land of J. Boyd or others on the East by Land of Maria Colt and of the North by Public Road and also I give to my son Henry D. Prather one thousand Dollars besides said Mortgage & Bond and ten acre lot of Land. in case there is not enough to pay each one of these gifts or bequests, each one of my heirs is to share alike in said deduction. I authorize my Executors to sell the remainder of my Property Real or Personal at Public or Private sail as they may think Best, and if there is any more money after paying the above bequths and ???? it is to be divided share and share alike amonst my children.
Further I hereby Appoint my son Henry D. Prather and Francis N. Runnels of Millvillage Erie co. Pa. to be my Lawful Executors of this my last will and Testament. In Witness whereof I, Susan Hewitt have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal to this instroment of Wrighting as my Last Will and Testament at Millvillage Erie co. Pa. this Ninth 9th Day of March 1888 in Presence of Charles J. Runnels and J. H. Kirk who sign this instrament of Wrighting as my last Will at my request as my Witnesses.
