Last Will and Testament of Mark Wilkins

I Mark Wilkins of the Township of Bloomfield County of Crawford and state of Pennsylvania being sick and weak in body but of sound mind, memory, and understanding do therefore make and declare this as and for my last will and testimony, hereby revoking and making void all wills heretofore by me made. I do will and bequethe [sic to my wife Susannah P. Wilkins the use of the farm on which I now live comprising Fifty acres of land for her own use and support for and during her natural life. I also will and bequethe [sic] to my said wife my gray horse, new top buggy, two cows, and all household goods except what belonged to my former wife and except what are hereinafter mentioned, also two sheep, also, hay and grain enough to winter said horse, cows, and sheep, also ten bushels of wheet [sic], one half of oats now in bin, two pigs one calf and all chickens now on my farm. also all apples now in cellar, and two thirds of all potatoes now in cellar, also all pork Beef and other contents of cellar. I also will and bequethe [sic] to my aforesaid wife a certain indenture of mortgage and Bond which I now hold against James G. Humes, for the sum of Nine Hundred dollars and all principle and interest due on said mortgage at my decease, said mortgage bearing date of Mar. 12th 1894. I will bequethe [sic] and devise to my son Shirley F. Wilkins, Twenty-five acres of land bounded on the north by Friend Shearer, East by Bryner and Wallace, on the sounth by Horace Pierce and on the west by said shirley F. Wilkins. also Ten acres of land bounded on the north by public Road, on the west by Lin Bunting, south by Ira H. Wilkins and on the east by public road, being a part of the Burdick farm. also Thirty five acres of land known as the George Clark farm bounded on the south and west by W. B. Taylor north by Sarah B. Chapin, A. D. Weed, and on the East by Wm. Kinny and Joel Weed. I also will bequethe [sic] and devise to my aforesaid son Shirley F. Wilkins the Farm on which I now live, or in case of his decease to his heirs, subject always to the life use of to my wife Susannah P. Wilkins, as aforesaid. All of the above devised lands lying and being in the Township of Bloomfield, County of crawford and state of Penna. I also will and bequethe [sic] to my aforesaid son Shirley F. Wilkins all of my personal property of whatsoever kind or nature, not otherwise willed to my aforesaid wife Susannah P. Wilkins. I also will and bequethe [sic] to my said son Shirley F. Wilkins a certain Mortgages and Bonds, or what may remain due and unpaid at my decease as follows. Orrin Morton, Bond & Mortgage amount now due $600.00. Ira H. Wilkins[,] Bond and Mortgage amt. now due $1300.00 and interest. Climena Mickle[,] Bond and Mortgage about $300, or what may remain due at my decease. Hubbard Taylor[,] Bond and Mortgage, $500.00. I also will and bequethe [sic] to my said son Shirley F. Wilkins all notes and accounts due me and all money in my posession [sic] at my decease, provided always that the said Shirley F. Wilkins shall pay all legal claims against me, and my doctor bills, and funeral expence [sic]. I also will and bequethe [sic] to my said son Shirley F. Wilkins my large family Bible, my History of Crawford County, and all pictures belonging to me as follows. one picture & frame of: Caleb A Blanchard, one picture and frame of Claracy Blanchard[,] one frame and wrethe [sic], one picture & frame of Nellie Wilkins, one picture & frame of John Wilkins[,] one picture & frame Emeline Blanchard: one feather bed and bedsted [sic and sheets, blankets and quilts sufficient for one bed, also one watch. In witness whereof I the said testator Mark Wilkins do name, constitute and appoint my son Shirley F. Wilkins the sole executor of this my last will and testament and have set my hand and seal to this my last will and testament this 5th day of January A.D. 1895

Before me, Register of Wills, &c., in and for said County, personally came John E. Wilkins and R. M. Range the subscribing witnesses to the annexed instrument in writing, purporting to be the last Will and Testament of Mark Wilkins late of Bloomfield Township deceased, who, upon their oaths, say, that they were personally present at the execution of the annexed instrument, and saw the said Mark Wilkins sign the same as and for his Last Will and Testament; that they signed the same as witnesses, at his request, in his presence, and in the presence of each other; at which time the said Testator was of sound and disposing mind, as they verily believe.
