Last Will and Testament of George S. Myers

The last Will and Testament of George S. Myers of the Township of Rockland the County of Venango.

I George S. Myers considering the uncertainty of this mortal life and being of sound mind and memory do make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner following viz" after paying my furnereal expenses and Just debts,

I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Elizabeth J. Myers eight acres and eighty two perches of land as surveyed by John L. Porter on the 7" day of January A D 1869 during her natural life together with all the buildings and improvements thereon it being the same that I now live on and after the death of my said wife Elizabeth J. Myers it is my will and I do order that my youngest son Ira Myers shall have the above described property. I also order that my Executors shall pay to my said son Ira Myers One thousand dollars as soon as convenient after my death.

I give and bequeath unto my eldest son William N. Myers the sum of Two hundred dollars.

I give and bequeath unto my son George W. Myers the sum of One hundred dollars.

I give and bequeath unto my son Burns Myers the sum of One hundred dollars.

I give and bequeath unto my son Henry Myers the sum of One hundred dollars.

I give and bequeath unto my daughter Margaret King the sum of One hundred dollars.

I give and bequeath to my daughter Esther Holaday the sum of One hundred dollars.

I give and bequeath to my daughter Mary Ann Nickle the sum of One hundred dollars.

I give and bequeath unto my daughter Ellenor Donelson the sum of One hundred dollars.

I give and bequeath unto my daughter Nancy Jane Donelson the sum of One hundred dollars.

I give and bequeath...

...perches. I also give and bequeath to my youngest son Ira Myers one pair of Millstones and Mill Irons that is now standing in the Mill.

And lastly as to all the rest residue and remainder of my personal estate goods and chattles of what kind and nature so ever, I give and bequeath the same to my said beloved wife Elizabeth J.Myers. I hereby revoke all wills I have hereuntofore made. And I hereby appoint Wm. N. Myers my sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament.

In Witness Whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this third day of June in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and sixty nine.

Personally came before me James W. Shaw Register for the Probate of Wills and granting Letters of Administration in and for the County aforesaid John McCall and James Christy the subscribing witnesses to the above will who being duly sworn according to law do say that they were present and saw and heard George S. Myers the testator sign seal publish pronounce and declare the foregoing instrument of writing as and for his last will and testament and that at the time of so doing he was of sound mind memory and understanding to the best of their knowledge and belief.
