
I, Daniel Knisley of Washington Township in the County of Clarion being in good health of body and of sound and disposing mind and memory do make and declare this to be my Will and Testament in manner following, that is to say: I order that any just debts funeral expenses and charges of forming this my Will be in the first place fully paid and satisfied and after payment thereof and every part thereof, I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Elizabeth one third of all crops that may be raised on my farm during her natural life and further she is to have all control of the house that I now live in, further I give her one bed and beding. I give and bequeath to my Solomon one dolloar. I give and bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth intermarried with Henry Barnett twenty five dollars. I give and bequeath to my daughter Eliza Ann intermarried with Frederick Kifer Fifty dollars. I give and bequeath to my daughter Catharine intermarried with Hezekiah Shotts fifty dollars. I give and bequeath to my daughter Mary intermarried with Joseph Alio fifty dollars. I give and bequeath to my daughter Soloma intermarried with Samuel Barnett fifty dollars. I order that said Fifty dollars that I give to my daughter Soloma be paid her by my Executor to her only, as She shall need the same and to no one else. I give and bequeath to my daughter Christina intermarried with Joseph Brewster fifty dollars. And all the rest residue remainder of my goods, clothes, debts redy money, effects and other my estate whatsoever and wheresoever both real and personal I give and bequeath the same and every part and parcel thereunto Daniel Walter son of Daniel Walter Sen. and Hezekiah Shotts Executors administrators and assigns. I further will that said Executors shall as soon as possible convert my property real and personal into money after my wifes death and divide the proceeds equally share and share alike among my said children namely Elizabeth Ann Catharine Mary Soloma Christina my Executors to use all possible means to keep my daughters legacy from being used by her husband Samuel Barnett. And I do nominate constitute and appoint Daniel Walter son of Daniel Walter Sen. and Hezekiah Shotts both of Farmington Township Executors of this my last Will hereby revoking and making void all former wills by one at any time heretofore made and declare this my last Will and Testament.
In Witness thereof I the said testater Daniel Knisley have to this my last Will and Testament set my hand and seal the Sixteenth day of January one thousand eight hundred and sixty seven (1867)
