The following are the request of the late Benjamin Prather Deceased that he requested Som little time befour his Death That is to say-- the Lands I give to my wife, my stock and moveables to be Brought in and Equally Divided Rachel to be Sould and if times permits for fifty pounds to be giving to Massy to rewars giting a place for hir as a Legersy-- May 30 1778

Montgomery County May 30 1778 Then came John Gaither and Alexander Mason and made oath on the Holy Evangels of Almighty God that they did hear Benjamin Prather in his last sickness publish pronounce and declare the foregoing or the substance thereof to be his last Will that at the time of his so doing he was to the best of their apprehension of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding and that they and Samuel Israel Godmein Zephaniah Prather & Nicholas Hauker were Witnesses to the same in the presence and at the request of the Testator and in the presence of each other.
